PSOE Ask Chacon
The day after the electoral debacle had already arisen numerous voices in the PSOE who consider an authentic nonsense subjecting the Organization to the tension of a primary election. The ideal scenario, and many propugnaran in alto, is a pact between the first Vice-President, Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba and Minister of defence, Carme Chacon, together to form the tandem that represent them for the next general election. Yesterday there was already a foretaste of this demand in the own Federal Executive Committee; one of the most difficult that the PSOE has lived in many years to have to face a huge loss of autonomic and local power. But today the Deputy Secretary general of the party, Jose Blanco, said in an interview on Cadena SER that you don't want agreements behind the scenes to elect the successor of Zapatero. And pointed out that he would prefer that the result wakes up credibility, confidence and enthusiasm to serve to take control of the match.
