The Environment
Rejeitos solid generated in increasing way in all the regions or places of the world for where the human beings live. The terms residue and I reject solid are explained more ahead. Since the primrdios of its existence the man interacts as the environment, modifying it and transforming it in accordance with its necessity. This interference if of the one in diverse levels, generating ambient problems, amongst which if they detach those related to the solid residues. FERRUCCIO (2003), amongst many, detaches that the management of such residues since its generation is a problem to be solved of form to prevent damages to the environment. Of the point of view of the damages to the natural resources, CORTEZ (2002) affirms that the exaggerated generation of residues brings harmful consequences to the environment, as pollution of the ground, air and waters (underground and of surface), leading to a continuous and sped up process of deterioration of the environment. In the conception of RASP (1991), the risks of the inadequate disposal of the garbage are on to limitations of the natural way in absorbing such interventions, that is, the disposal without the had consideration of the limitations of the environment would be responsible for the damage to the natural resources. Not the treatment or inadequate treatment of the solid residues, when compromising the quality of the natural resources (hdricos ground, bodies and atmosphere) favors the ecological proliferation of illnesses and disequilibria (GEBARA, 1985). The solid residues occupy important paper in the structure epidemiologist of the society, therefore they play important role in the transmission of illnesses for the action of vectors as insects, rats, dogs, swines and birds that keep contact with the residues. As BIDONE and POVINELI (1999) such vectors can be responsible for the transmission of illnesses as fever tifide, salmoneloses, disenterias, malaria, murino yellow fever, clera, amebase, giardase, tifo, leptospirose, diarrias, and triquinose.
